They generate a humming sound at 60mph. Sounds like driving on a cement surfaced road. Two new Comforser CF510 205/55R16 COMFORSER CF510 91V fitted to front wheels. These tyres make a humming sound at 60mph unfortunately which is rather disappointing This has not been the case with other tyre brands.

The tyres perform reasonably well in dry conditions offering decent grip and handling They perform abysmally in the slightest of damp road conditions they offer little to no grip when cornering or going round a roundabout the car just slides across the road all four corners let go for a less inexperienced driver this could cause a major problem They also have excessive road noise Overall these tyres underperform on the ratings they were given I would not recommend to anyone

Without doubt 'the' worst tyres I have ever purchased in 33 years of motoring. Skittish in damp (dewy) road conditions, moved around in drizzle/rain, slipped in frosty & icy conditions. My back end slid out at 20mph approaching a gentle curved slip road onto the South Cerney A419 roundabout, thankfully no-one else coming towards me or I'd have hit them. An absolute nightmare, changed them for Nexens as soon as I had the money. Cheap Chinese rubbish that will kill someone, stop selling them.

Unfortunately we’ve found these tyres aren’t great in the wet at all. Every time we go round a roundabout or sharpish corner, the traction control light flashes on. We’ve only ever seen this light come on since having these tyres, never before and it seems to be all the time. It’s made me very wary in the rain, sadly. We wouldn’t purchase these again.

Although very good for the money, at the time of purchasing I was unable to buy more expensive tyres, I wouldn't buy them again due to the lack of grip in comparison to my previous tyres. But excellent service and I will return to the garage itself, I personally like more grip on my tyres but I understood they would not be as strong as my previous set.

In the dry they're OK handling wise, nothing to write home about. In the wet is when things get interesting. I dread even a slightly damp road, terrible grip, I have to be very careful cornering when it's damp if doing anything more than tip toeing around the bend, roundabout etc... now when it's raining that takes the no grip to another level all together. That being said I would use Northants tyres again but I would hopefully pick a better tyre next time around.
